Ok, its for sale. Details as follows, Electric Windows. Manual sunroof (no leaks excellent condition) Leather interior (good but has marks) 5 speed manual, good changes, doesn’t jump out of gear, no crunches, oil checked. Engine solid, uses no oil, water and no unusual noises. Taxed until Dec 07 MOT’d until June 1st 2007 (Though it will have a new MOT on that date) No major defects. Typical marks for year. Body is strong and in very good condition. Solid car body and mechanics. Recent work So far I have flushed the steering rack, I changed the pads on the front brakes, discs were fine, repaired some trim and cleaned the car inside and out. I have replaced the rear floor and toolkit, and taken all the seats out and treated with leather cleaner and feed. The centre console was also removed and cleaned and the carpet checked and hovered. The parcel shelf was also replaced. All this and the headliner still to do. Pressure bled the breaks and clutch system. I changed the oil and filter about 2000 miles again, and this will be checked as well. New fuel filter, the back box, spark plugs, rotor arm, distributor cap, oil pressure switch, and new wipers all round. New front speakers. Runs smooth and makes a great sound. Pulls strong and is fast and quiet. This car has Turbo badges but is NOT A TURBO. Bad points. I had removed part of the headlining with the veiw to replacing it. It is still in the car, but see the picture. Fuel Gauge is funny sometimes, but settles down. A bit groggy some times when starting from cold (I am going to replace all the vacuum lines this weekend) I am selling this car as I have another which I want to get on the road. Usual marks for a 20 year old classic. Body work is maintained and kept clean. Very small rust pockets. This is treated and will repair this week. Minimum rust on the door bottoms. Doors in excellent condition. Thanks for looking. SOLD :( It looked so good driving away. |
